Overview:
The June 2026 update for Centrik spans seven fix versions across both product streams and advances Smart Suggestions, the first wave of Centrik's AI roadmap. Three AI-powered features now work inside the Safety and Compliance workflows teams already use: Same Event or Hazard Detection flags reports describing the same event or hazard, Suggested Categorisation proposes best-fit categories learned from the organisation's own classification history, and Repeat Findings Detection recognises when a new audit finding resembles findings from past audits. Every suggestion is reviewed and confirmed, or overridden, by an officer or auditor before anything is saved. This release also delivers targeted performance improvements to document viewing and background polling, alongside more than 40 bug fixes across Safety, Quality, Training, Documents, Dashboard, Equipment, Risk, Regulations, Forms, and other modules.
What's New
This release advances Smart Suggestions, the first wave of Centrik's AI roadmap: intelligent prompts that surface the right information at the right moment inside the Safety and Compliance modules teams already use. Three features reduce manual effort, keep safety data consistent, and surface systemic issues earlier. Every suggestion is exactly that, a suggestion: officers and auditors review and confirm, or override, before anything is saved. Centrik does not auto-merge reports, auto-classify occurrences, or make safety decisions, and each suggestion carries a confidence score to support faster, well-informed judgement.
AI feature opt-in: Smart Suggestions are off by default and enabled per site on opt-in only. Because the features use AI, customers confirm activation by completing the AI & Analytics Features Activation & Consent Form, which covers the AI sub-processors and data residency; a separate sub-processor notification will also be issued to customers.
1. Same Event or Hazard Detection
When a new safety report comes in, Centrik automatically scans recent reports and flags those describing the same event or hazard. Safety officers can confirm, merge, or link in a click, replacing the manual hunt through past reports and keeping each event or hazard captured in one place.
2. Suggested Categorisation
Centrik suggests the most likely categories for each safety report, learning from how the organisation has classified reports in the past. Officers see the best-fit suggestions to accept or adjust, speeding up triage while building the classification consistency that reliable analytics, trend analysis, and regulator reporting depend on.
3. Repeat Findings Detection
In Compliance, Centrik recognises when a new audit finding resembles findings from past audits and flags it for the auditor, for example: "Similar finding recorded in a previous audit of Maintenance Procedures." Recurring problems are spotted earlier, corrective action is stronger, and trend analysis and regulator reporting gain better evidence. Repeat findings are presented through the same Smart Suggestions experience used for categorisation.

End-User Impacts
The AI Smart Suggestions features for same event or hazard detection, suggested categorisation, and repeat findings detection can be enabled on request. No mandatory workflow changes are required for existing users.
