Overview:

The May 2026 update for Centrik spans eight fix versions across the current (v5.0) and legacy (v4.9) streams. This release improves SmartDoc conversion and publishing, alongside more than 40 bug fixes across the Safety, Risk, Quality, Documents, Workflows, and Registry modules.

• [CNTK-1350] Newly published SmartDocs are now set as the current document version automatically.

• [CNTK-1259] Documents converted to SmartDoc are no longer set as the current version until they are published.

• [CNTK-1352] The originating source document is now linked to the Centrik document when converting to SmartDoc.

• [CNTK-1409] Fixed the document type not carrying across to the new version when converting to SmartDoc.

Safety

• [CEN-32764] Validation messages on the "Mandatory or Voluntary?" and "Is Fatigue Related?" fields now describe the specific requirement instead of only showing "Required".

• [CNTK-931] Changes to the "Barriers" value during the Classify phase are now recorded in the change log.

• [CNTK-1102] Comments added when reopening a case are now logged correctly.

• [CNTK-1128] Fixed the link to the risk register when uploading historic safety reports.

• [CNTK-1303] Resolved an error that occurred when entering the Classify phase.

• [CNTK-1364] Safety cases can now be located directly in the system without needing the emailed link.

• [CNTK-1453] Fixed an error when opening the Classify phase.

Risk

• [CEN-31945] The "Not Yet Analysed" state in SIRA is now visible in light mode.

• [CEN-32887] The close ("X") button is now visible in dark mode.

• [CEN-33299] Linked SMS cases now move with a risk assessment when it is reassigned between sub-systems.

• [CEN-33318] Fixed an issue that prevented selecting an organisation when adding a risk assessment.

• [CNTK-1251] Resolved an "Access Denied" error when adding an action within SIRA.

• [CNTK-1266] Fixed an error in the Hazard Log when selecting tags.

Quality / Compliance

• [CEN-29581] Findings lists now display findings across all subsystems, not just the primary subsystem.

• [CEN-32542] Severity colours in My Findings now match the rest of the system.

• [CEN-33005] Selecting an option from the history and heatmap dropdowns now works correctly when clicking anywhere on the option row.

• [CEN-33244] The inactive "+ New Checklist" button is no longer shown to users with only "See All" permission.

• [CNTK-378] Overdue "Respond By" dates are now highlighted in red.

• [CNTK-1218] Fixed an error when uploading audit results with photo attachments on the Android app.

• [CNTK-1398] Duplicate audits are no longer displayed on the dashboard.

• [CNTK-1423] Regulator users can now download the PDF list of My Tasks from the dashboard.

• [CNTK-1355] The closed findings button counter now displays the correct count instead of zero.

• [CNTK-1462] Resolved an error when opening or creating a finding.

Documents

• [CNTK-1217] Converting to SmartDoc now attributes the new document version to the correct user.

• [CNTK-1367] SmartDocs can now be opened from the document icon button.

• [CNTK-1445] Tracked readers now display correctly on first load.

Workflows

• [CNTK-481] Checkbox-type workflow fields now display correctly on PDF downloads instead of showing "N/A".

• [CNTK-785] Management of Change due dates are now highlighted with indicator colours as deadlines approach and pass.

• [CNTK-1360] Fixed the on-screen keyboard not appearing when tapping a workflow text box in the Android browser.

• [CNTK-1379] Assigned workflow steps now display for both primary and secondary organisational units.

Registry & Applications

• [CEN-32822] Aircraft details entered when adding a new aircraft are now captured correctly.

• [CNTK-529] Registries with a single form type can now link to an existing entry when creating a new application.

• [CNTK-1103] Files can now be downloaded from File Uploader fields.

• [CNTK-1210] Fixed a broken operator image in the Registry module.

Training

• [CEN-30263] Fixed search and dark mode loading issues in the Training module.

• [CEN-31654] Training pop-up windows now fit smaller screens, keeping the Save, Cancel, and close buttons on screen.

• [CEN-33169] Signed-off training events no longer allow attachments to be added by affected users.

Regulations

• [CEN-33374] The Document Control Date on regulation amendments now reflects the configured system setting.

• [CNTK-1370] Fixed the archive function so that only one document version is marked as current.

Forms

• [CEN-33379] Form data is no longer lost when saving or submitting without first saving a draft.

Dashboards

• [CNTK-1238] Equipment defect links in the "More task views" dashboard now work correctly.

KPIs

• [CNTK-861] Internal organisations now display correctly in KPI reporting.

Configuration

• [CNTK-1295] Contacts can now be added to an organisation.

General

• [CEN-31819] Fixed a missing attachment icon that appeared across the system.
