Overview

This November release delivers important compliance updates for Android mobile applications, introduces manoeuvre assessment capabilities in the Training module, enhances Quality module terminology customization, and includes over 60 bug fixes and improvements across Safety, Quality, Training, Documents, and other modules.

What's New

1. Training Manoeuvre Assessment

Crew members can now view their manoeuvre assessment history through the My Assessments page, complementing the existing competency map view. Training managers can use the training heatmap to analyse manoeuvre performance across check types (LST, LC, LPC, OPC). The system displays the most recent scores including repeats and retests, providing valuable insights into crew proficiency trends.

2. Quality Module Terminology Configuration

Organisations have new options available for customising terminology within Quality subsystems to match their internal standards. The "Inspector" field in Findings and "Lead Auditor" in Audits can be renamed to align with company-specific terminology and qualifications, improving clarity and reducing confusion around audit roles and responsibilities.

3. Android Application Compliance Updates

The Android app has been updated to meet Google Play Store requirements, including support for Android 15 (API level 35), 16 KB memory page sizes, and updated photo/video permissions handling. These critical updates ensure continued availability and functionality of the mobile app on the Google Play Store.

4. iPad Document Display Optimization

The iPad app now features a more compact document list interface, allowing more documents to be visible on screen simultaneously without changing the information displayed. This enhancement improves document browsing efficiency on mobile devices.

5. Safety Module Risk Assessment Links

In the V5 interface, safety cases now include direct hyperlinks to linked risk assessments, making it easier to navigate between related safety and risk management records without needing to search through subsystem lists.

6. PDF Security Enhancements

All uploaded PDF files are now validated for potentially malicious content including embedded JavaScript before being accepted into the system, strengthening document security across all modules.

7. Support Portal Access Restoration

The "Contact Support" option has been restored in both V4 and V5 interfaces, now linking directly to the TrustFlight Support Portal login page, providing easier access to support resources and ticket submission.
