Tech Log Release Notes - 2026.07.31

Overview

This release delivers custom fields support in Trip Updates, an independently configurable APU widget, and operator control over cycles auto-population. It also resolves a set of iPad usability and data retention bugs, improves dashboard and API performance, and fixes several integration sync problems.

Custom fields are now supported in Trip Updates, including rendering on the new, view, and edit drawers in the dashboard, along with tidied custom field option handling. (TL-7914, TL-7940, TL-7983)

The APU widget can now be disabled independently of the APU time fields on postflight, controlled from Aircraft Settings and applied consistently across the dashboard and the iPad app. (TL-7907, TL-8030, TL-8031, TL-8032)

A new Aircraft Setting lets operators disable cycles auto-population on the iPad. (TL-8026, TL-8028, TL-8029, TL-8036)

On APU Readings, the app now raises a warning when an entered value is lower than expected, helping catch data entry errors at the point of capture. (TL-7942)

• SSO account remembered on shared devices: Signing in with an SSO account was remembered on the device and blocked other SSO accounts from signing in on the same iPad. (TL-7903)

• Lower action bar hidden on new flight: Fixed the lower bar being hidden on the New Flight screen on iOS 17. (TL-7945)

• Action bar gap above the home indicator: The New Flight lower action bar now extends to the bottom edge of the screen. (TL-7968)

• Preflight oil values not retained: Fixed updated preflight oil values not being retained. (TL-7948)

• Defect with M procedure: Fixed a defect handling issue involving M procedures. (TL-7891)

• Edit Defect versus Edit Deferral: Corrected the edit behaviour so editing a defect and editing its deferral are handled distinctly. (TL-7937)

• Aircraft incorrectly showing unserviceable: Fixed aircraft showing as unserviceable on both the dashboard and the app after the linked maintenance task had been resolved. (TL-8071)

• Deferral date not displaying: The deferral date now displays correctly once a resolution is completed. (TL-7791)

• Document tile count mismatch: Aligned the dashboard document tile count with the iPad aircraft document count. (TL-7853)

• Truncated company names: Fixed truncated company names in the company dropdown on the User Settings page. (TL-7039)

• Density unit customisation: Fixed density unit customisation so operator configured units are respected. (TL-8044)

• CAMP credential expiry: Added a months limit to CAMP credentials. (TL-8043)

• Add user drawer loading all people: The add new user drawer no longer loads every person record. (TL-7303)

• API authentication query volume: Reduced the number of database queries performed during API authentication. (TL-7996)

• Circular sync creating duplicate drafts: Fixed a circular sync where a Tech Log originated flight was re-imported back into Tech Log as a duplicate draft on the next Leon poll. (SS-1236)

• Flights not syncing back to Leon: Fixed flights failing to sync back to Leon and showing as deleted. (SS-1188)

• Dual pilots not captured: Fixed the Leon pilot flying field not capturing dual pilots. (SS-1081)

• iPad Users: Users should update to v1.65.0.

• Web Dashboard Users: Fixes are live as of this release, no action required.

• None in this release

• The APU widget visibility and cycles autopopulation behaviour are controlled per operator through Aircraft Settings and standard fields respectively, so they are not enabled or disabled globally by this release.
