Overview

This August release for Centrik introduces powerful new rate-based KPI reporting capabilities alongside significant stability and performance improvements across the platform. Key enhancements include an integration with TrustFlight’s new Smart Docs product and advanced safety metrics with Talon ETA integration. The release addresses over 75 bug fixes and improvements covering the Safety Module, Quality & Compliance, Documents Module, Registry & Applications, Performance & Infrastructure, Risk Management, and System Administration. Users will experience both new analytical capabilities and improved reliability throughout the platform.

What's New

1. Rate-Based KPI Reporting with Flight Hours Integration

Centrik now supports sophisticated rate-based KPI reporting that allows safety managers to express event frequencies in relation to operational exposure metrics. This enhancement enables standardized safety reporting per thousand or million flight hours/cycles, providing industry-standard safety metrics.

Key Features:

• Event Metrics: Configure KPIs to track safety reports, engine failures, runway excursions, and other events

• Rate Basis: Normalize against flight hours, flight cycles, or other operational metrics from reference datasets

• Rate Multipliers: Express rates per 1,000, 10,000, or 1,000,000 operations as needed

• Talon ETA Integration: Seamlessly integrates with Talon ETA for automated flight hours data

• Flexible Configuration: Support for manual KPI Reference Values with future Tech Log integration planned

Example Configurations:

• Engine failures per million flight hours

• Runway excursions per 1,000 flight cycles

• Safety reports per 100,000 flight hours

This feature significantly enhances Centrik's analytical capabilities for safety performance monitoring and regulatory compliance reporting.

2. Smart Docs Integration

We’re excited to introduce the first phase of our Smart Docs integration for Centrik’s Documents module.

With this update, Centrik users can now:

• Create documents in Centrik that are automatically linked to Smart Docs.

• Author, review, and edit these documents directly in Smart Docs using its advanced collaborative tools.

• Publish back to Centrik – once finalised in Smart Docs, the document is returned to Centrik in PDF format, keeping version control and distribution simple and familiar.

This initial release is designed to make it easier to take advantage of Smart Docs’ authoring capabilities while continuing to manage and distribute documents through Centrik’s existing workflows.
