Overview
This release delivers significant performance enhancements alongside user experience improvements, enhanced SRP capabilities, and resolving customer-reported issues. The standout feature is a major iPad performance boost delivering up to 2x faster performance across the application, including loading aircraft and tab switching. Additional key improvements include new SRP fields for comprehensive documentation, FRAT question management fixes, and multiple display and functionality issues resolved across iPad and dashboard interfaces.
What's New
1. iPad Trip Caching Performance Improvement
Significant Performance Boost: We've implemented an advanced trip ordering cache system that delivers up to 2x performance improvements across many areas of the iPad application. This major enhancement addresses customer feedback about application lag and provides substantial speed improvements throughout the user experience.
Key Performance Improvements:
Loading aircraft: Up to 1.8x faster performance
Switching between tabs: Up to 2x faster navigation
General application responsiveness significantly improved across all workflows
Technical Impact: The caching system intelligently stores trip ordering data and automatically updates when flight information changes, eliminating the need to repeatedly recalculate complex trip sequences. This is particularly beneficial for operators with multiple flights per day or complex trip structures, where the app previously had to sort through extensive flight data for each user interaction.
Customer Benefit: Pilots and maintenance teams will experience noticeably faster app performance across all areas of the iPad application, especially when working with aircraft that have multiple trips or when switching between different aircraft during busy operational periods. This enhancement directly addresses feedback from customers who may have experienced lag during critical operational workflows.
