Add Training via a Check:
If a qualification has a checklist associated with it then it can be started in Centrik and details of the check items recorded (adding a check is created when building the initial qualification). For these qualifications you are provided with two options.

- Record a XX (XX taking the short code naming from the qualification)
1. Click on the Crew currency tab of the required training subsystem

The qualification is displayed, broken down into different areas depending on the check it is associated with.
Usually, any check associated to a flight check such as LPC/OPC will have the ability to link to Cycles to it (if configured) whilst a Line Check qualification will have the option to link / create Sectors.
Any checks created that are not directly cycle or sector related (type Ratings) will not have the option of cycles or sectors to choose from.

An area titled Check to be carried out by is an available option. If an individual has the relevant access right to perform a check their name can be entered into this area. They will receive notification via email and via Centrik to inform them that they are the named examiner of this check.
The different phases of the check are also displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
Details – This area contains information relating to the Aircraft, SIM, or Ground school alongside a confirmation of the qualification and the amount of sector checked.
Sector Details (LC Only) – This area contains information regarding any sectors that need to be recorded, options are provided for the Type of flight, followed by free text boxes for Route, Off-Block, and On-Block times.
You are also able to record if the individual is the Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring (choosing an option defaults the remaining option under the Instructor Role) as well as documenting the Approach Type.
