Safety is one of the core functions within Centrik, with a system that states ‘Safety at its core’ you’d expect it to be.
The safety module within Centrik provides the ability to capture an organisations safety occurrence and or events within the Centrik system. This can be captured in both online and offline modes.
Once a safety report is entered into Centrik it becomes a safety case. Centrik then provides the ability to categorise and analyse this safety case through various heatmaps and KPIs alongside the ability to send a safety case direct to the Regulator via an E5X formatted file.
The safety landing page can have several available areas depending on a user’s access rights of the system. For a base regular / everyday user they will only see the ‘Start New Report’ button and ‘My Cases’ button.
Safety Managers and those with higher access rights will be able to view the overall safety status (All Drafts, Case in-box, All cases & MORs) as well as the heatmap and KPI areas. When a site has no safety cases that have been submitted the heatmap area will be blank, even if you have the required access rights to view this area. This is due to there being zero cases to analyse, as soon as one safety case is submitted the heatmap area becomes active.
Safety landing page
An increased level of access right provides an increase in the available viewable areas of the Safety module.
Dashboard – Provides an overview of that subsystem including Actions, MORs, Open cases, the ability to start a new Report and an area to view ‘My Tasks’ (Tasks that you have assigned to others)
Cases – An overview area of all open cases in this subsystem displaying the different phases that they are currently in. A separate area houses all closed cases, these are found by clicking on the ‘View Closed Cases’ button
Filtering Options, within the cases section there is the ability to filter cases. Clicking on the ‘Show filters’ button displays the filtering options that re available.
By entering in the options required (filter section highlighted by the RED frame) and clicking on the ‘Apply filter’ button allows you to filter the results.
If you want to include deleted cases in the filtering, then ensure that the checkbox (include deleted cases?) has been selected (highlighted by the BLUE frame)
Drafts - An area where all draft reports sit, you are able to send reminder emails to individuals, or a reminder to all. Accessing a report allows you to also delete it.
Actions - An area that stores all actions from a specific subsystem, displaying the owner and the action status.
Through the categorisation of safety cases within the classify risk phase along with the scoring of safety cases uses the ARMS methodology enables Centrik to create specific analysis options.
